An adaptation of the work, Marking Territory: my bed, ‘97. Restaged as a public performance, the work references land plotting and staking, with gallery stanchions subtly echoing the park’s football stanchions. The performance explores barriers and access, postcolonial narratives of migration, and attempts to claim space shaped by displacement.
